April 2026

The month of April included the annual Easter visits to local nursing facilities.  Lincoln Emblem Club and Lincoln Elks and the Easter Bunny paid a visit to residents.  Each resident received a banana from the Elks and $50 for their facility activity fund from Emblem Club,

March 2026

The 2026-2028 slate of new officers for Lincoln Emblem Club #433 were installed Saturday, March 28 at the Lincoln Elks ballroom.  Officers from Peoria Emblem Club #121 were also installed.  Supreme President Doris MacDonald from Billerica, Massachusetts conducted the ceremony with Barb Scott from Bloomington Emblem Club #432 serving as the Supreme Marshall and Debbie Smith from Waukegan Emblem Club #88 as organist.  Special guests included Emblem Club members from Bloomington and Beardstown, Supreme 3rd Vice President Gwen McRill from Bloomington, and Supreme Past President Ardenna Hurt from Wooster, Ohio.

February 2026

Bethany Rademaker and Kristen Harmsen and their daughters, Lillian and Olivia, paid tribute to our Lincoln and Logan County First Responders. They delivered a box of Girl Scout cookies to the Lincoln City Police, Lincoln Fire Department, Logan County Sheriff’s Department, Lincoln Rural Fire, and Logan County Paramedics. The ladies were treated with a tour of the new ambulance purchased by LCPA.


December 2025 – Lincoln Emblem Club participates in the Lincoln Christmas Parade on a very snowy evening.

November 2025

September 2025 – Lincoln Emblem Club members attend the Supreme Convention in Ohio.

June 2025 – Lincoln Emblem Club attends WIIM State Convention.

March 2025 – The Lincoln Emblem Club donated $500 to Hope on 5th which provides shelter to central Illinois veterans, homeless and those at risk. The club also donated $500 to Logan County Special Olympics.

February 2025 – In honor of Valentine’s Day, Lincoln Emblem Club paid tribute to our First Responders. 

Members Bethany Rademaker and Kristen Harmsen along with their children, Lillian Rademaker, Olivia Harmsen, and Barrett Rademaker, visited Lincoln City Police, Logan County Sheriff’s Department, Lincoln City Fire, Lincoln Rural Fire, and the Logan County Paramedics Association and dropped off Girl Scout Cookies.

December 2024 – Lincoln Emblem Club welcomes 3 new members, Lesleigh Bennett, Susie Taylor, and Kristen Harmsen.

December 14, 2024 – The Lincoln Emblem Club with the help of IGA and volunteers delivered Christmas Food Baskets for 80 families and 10 seniors.

November 8, 2024 – The Lincoln Emblem Club’s first Fall Gala was a great success.  Attendees were welcomed by a beautifully decorated venue and enjoyed a complimentary cocktail hour while they mingled and browsed the nearly 60 auction items available for bidding.  Other highlights of the evening were the whiskey wall, sponsored by Copper & Oak and Famous Liquors, a wine pull and the photo booth by Right on Q Entertainment.  The evening concluded with music by Woodworth Entertainment and dancing.     
September 2024 – Lincoln Emblem Club sponsored the annual Happy Feet event. Together with funding from Lincoln Elks and shoes provided by Shoe Sensations, the club provides school shoes to local children and teens. This year 59 pairs of shoes were given away.
June 2024 – Lincoln Emblem Club hosted the LMH Market. WIIM State Association Convention was attended by Lincoln members.
May 2024 – Mitzie Welsh, Holly Woodhall, and Judy Smith make a donation to the Lincoln Land Honor Fligth

May 2024 – Holly Woodhall gives Krissy Conklen of Head Start a $200 donation from Lincoln Emblem Club

May 2024 – Holly Woodhall and Tammy Bunner present monthly Birthday in a Bag kits to CAPCIL pantry.

May 2024 – Tammy Bunner and Holly Woodhall present $500 donation to Dea Welsh for Hope on 5th project.

April 2024 – Joint Installation for Lincoln, Bloomington, and Peoria Emblem Clubs with Supreme President Joyce Allison.
March 2024 – Elks members and Lincoln Emblem Club members and the Easter Bunny visit our local nursing facilities. The Elks gives each resident a banana and the Emblem Club donates $50 to their activity funds. The halls are filled with many renditions of “Here Comes Peter Cottontail”.
February 2024 – Valentines Day reminds us to remember the special people in our lives. Lincoln Emblem Club honors our First Responders. The club purchases Girl Scout cookies and delivers them to the Lincoln Police Department, the Lincoln Fire Department, the Logan County Sherriff’s Department, the Lincoln Rural Fire Department, and the Logan County Paramedics Association.
January 2024 – The Lincoln Emblem Club worked at Culver’s to earn money for our projects.
