Happy Feet
Working with Shoe Sensations and the Lincoln Elks, the Lincoln Emblem Club gave 108 pairs of school shoes to local children. 2024 Happy Feet will be held Sunday, September 8, from 9:00 am – 1:00 pm at the Lincoln Elks Ballroom.
Tiny Homes for Veterans
The Lincoln Emblem Club donates to this effort to supply Veterans with affordable housing.
Flags for Our Schools
Each year Lincoln Emblem Club presents schools with new outdoor American flags.
Christmas Food Baskets
One of the biggest projects for Lincoln Emblem Club is the delivery of Christmas Food Baskets in December.

Christmas Caroling
The Lincoln Emblem Club visits the local nursing facilities in December to sing Christmas carols with the residents.
Easter Bunny Visit
The Lincoln Emblem Club visits the local nursing facilities at Easter time. The Elks presents each resident with a banana and the Emblem Club donates $50 to their activity funds.
Fly the Flag Over I55
The Lincoln Emblem Club donates outdoor American flags that fly on the I55 overpass by Lawndale.
Christmas Cards
The Lincoln Emblem Club signs and delivers Christmas Cards to the local nursing facilities.
First Responders Appreciation
In 2023, the Lincoln Emblem Club purchased Girl Scout cookies and deliverted them to the Lincoln and Logan County Fire and Police Departments.
Veterans Appreciation
Each Veterans Day, Lincoln Emblem Club sends grocery cards and thank you notes to local Veterans.
2024 Scholarship Winners
Jane Spellman
Jane Spellman, granddaughter of Karen Dellow, is the 2024 Lincoln Emblem Club Scholarship winner. Jane was awarded $1500 in honor of Lee Rust and $500 in honor of Diane Farmer.
Erin Peterson
Erin Peterson, daughter of Brittany Peterson and granddaughter of Mitzie Welsh is also a 2024 Lincoln Emblem Club Scholarship winner. Erin was awarded $1500.
Bernie’s Book Bank
Bernie’s Book Bank donates 1000’s of books each year to 5 counties in the Chicago area. In September 2023, storms removed a portion of the roof of the warehouse, leaving numerous books water damaged. The Lincoln Emblem Club participated in the WIIM State Emblem club effort to donate books to help replenish their stock.
Annual Memorial Service
In December, the Lincoln Emblem Club conducted a memorial service in honor of deceased member Carol Young. This is an annual tradition. The memorial service was held in conjunction with the Lincoln Elks.
